THE Glen Innes community is invited to see how the district’s new $2.3 million TAFE NSW Connected Learning Centre (CLC) will transform vocational education and training at a Community Open Day next Monday, 27 November.
Northern Tablelands MP and Minister responsible for TAFE NSW Adam Marshall said the new multi-million dollar TAFE NSW Glen Innes CLC was set to transform education delivery in the region.
“The TAFE NSW Glenn Innes CLC will significantly improve the experience of teachers and students who utilise it, while doubling the courses available to local students and increasing the number of teachers,” Mr Marshall said.
“When the CLC opens on Monday students in Glen Innes will real options to study the right course to get them on their chosen career pathway locally which is a real win for our community.
“I encourage all members of the community to join me at TAFE NSW Glen Innes next Monday to come and get a look at what future delivery of vocational education and training delivery really looks like.”
The opening will include a free barbeque and catering prepared by TAFE NSW students while the community is able to see the latest advances in practical training and digital learning technologies first hand.
Mobile Training Units will be also on site with teachers demonstrating the high quality, practical and industry standard training available through the CLC.
