THE much-anticipated 2024 Legal Topics for Seniors Diary is now available and ready for locals to order, Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall announced today.
Mr Marshall said the diary, produced by Legal Aid NSW, was hugely popular each year with seniors across the Northern Tablelands.
“Next year’s edition is even bigger and better than the last,” Mr Marshall said.
“It is packed full of useful information about scams, legal help after a disaster, disputes between neighbours, money and Centrelink issues, as well as information on retirement villages and aged care.
“I’m encouraging seniors across the Northern Tablelands to get in touch with my offices and order their copy as soon as they can.
“It is an informative and easy-to-read diary to help demystify legal issues with new topics and updated content.
“It contains handy phone numbers, tips and hints for things you may be entitled to, as well as special event markings such as school holidays, so you remember important events and dates.
“There is also a chapter on Elder abuse and legal issues for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander older people.
“Almost 80,000 diaries are produced across the state making it an incredibly popular publication.”
Mr Marshall said seniors could reserve a copy of the 2024 Legal Topics for Seniors Diary now by contacting his electorate offices in Moree on 02 6752 5002 or Armidale on 02 6772 5552.
Seniors can also visit the Legal Aid NSW website to reserve a copy at www.legalaid.nsw.gov.au/ways-to-get-help/publications-and-resources
