NORTHERN Tablelands MP Adam Marshall is encouraging local Inverell small businesses to take advantage of the expert business advice on offer when the Small Biz Bus visits the town this Thursday.
The bus will be in Byron Street, in front of the Telstra store, from 9am to 3pm.
“The Bus was last here earlier this year and it’s a great opportunity for local businesses to get some more expert advice about their individual operations but also to look at the longer term in extending their potential,” Mr Marshall said.
The Small Biz Bus is a mobile advisory and information service for small businesses in NSW and is funded by the NSW Government.
Mr Marshall said advisors from the New England North West Business Enterprise Centre, which is the Small Biz Connect provider for this region, would be present on Thursday and their guidance and knowledge of the local business environment was an added bonus for anyone seeking high level industry information.
“I am really pleased that we have this service available to help ensure our small businesses get the support they need to thrive, which is essential to keeping the local economy strong,” Mr Marshall said.
Small business owners can access the support of expert advisers on the Small Biz Bus free of charge. Further to this initial visit, small business owners can engage these expert advisers on an ongoing basis.
Staff at the bus will be conducting confidential business advisory sessions during the day. If you would like to visit the Bus, please call Samantha O’Donohue on 02 8222 4814 or email bus.events@industry.nsw.gov.au to schedule a time.
