PFIZER DOSES AT ARMIDALE & MOREE PUBLIC VACCINATION CLINICS

Thursday, 5 August 2021

AS a result of the announcement by the Federal Government today that 180,000 additional Pfizer vaccine doses will be provided to NSW over the next two weeks, I am pleased to advise that NSW Health will reinstate all first jab Pfizer bookings at Moree and Armidale public vaccination clinics that were cancelled recently.

Additionally, those who received text messages advising of their bookings being cancelled will have their appointments re-booked by NSW Health, to ensure they are the first to receive the new doses.

I am advised that NSW Health has already begun reinstating these bookings and will advise each person accordingly.

This will be very welcome news for the hundreds of locals who were inconvenienced and frustrated by the sudden cancellations.

While we are told that more and more Pfizer will be delivered to us in the weeks and months ahead, people must also consider accessing the AstraZeneca vaccine.

If you are aged 18 to 59 you can contact your doctor today and have a suitability assessment to receive the AstraZeneca vaccines, as soon as an appointment is available.

As always, should anyone not hear from NSW Health, or have any problems or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact either of my offices on 6752 5502 (Moree) or 6772 5552 (Armidale) or drop me an email at northerntablelands@parliament.nsw.gov.au and my staff and I can will you out.
