MINISTER for Finance and Services Dominic Perrottet today joined Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall to officially open the new Armidale Service NSW Centre.

The Minister and Mr Marshall toured the one-stop shop, which opened its doors in February 2015, and hailed its expanded services and extended hours a success.

“In six months the Armidale Service NSW has served an impressive number of customers and is delivering services to a very high standard – customer satisfaction is running at an incredible 98 per cent,” Mr Perrottet said.

“The Baird-Grant Government is delivering on its commitment to make transacting with government an easy and efficient experience for the people of NSW.

“In addition to the new one-stop-shops like this one in Armidale, customers can access services from their PC or mobile while at home or on the go.”

Mr Marshall described the Service NSW centre at Armidale as an exciting initiative for residents and businesses in the Northern Tablelands region.

“Carrying out multiple transactions in one place saves everyone time, hassle and money and the extended hours has been appreciated by rural and urban residents alike,” Mr Marshall said.

“The Centre also had the benefit of creating six new jobs for the community.

“The Armidale Service NSW team can assist customers with more than 800 NSW government transactions including driver licences, vehicle registrations, Seniors Card applications, owner builder permits and more.

“The Centre’s manager is Bree Lewis, and I know she and team will continue to do all they can to provide excellent service to the residents and businesses of Armidale and the wider region.”

Armidale’s Service NSW Centre is located at 169 Rusden Street, Armidale (the former motor registry site). It offers extended hours from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 12pm Saturdays.
